Questions, answered
The things people ask before they book. No runaround, no fine print. If yours is not here, call and ask.
How do you quote post holes?
Three numbers get you a fast quote: how many holes, what diameter, and how deep. Diameter usually follows what is going in the hole, so if you are not sure, tell us the post size or the job and we will match the bit. Count and depth do the rest.
What soils can the auger handle, and what happens in rock?
Clay, sand, loam, and moderately rocky ground are normal work for us in East Texas. The auger pulls through most of it. Solid rock or a buried slab is where any auger slows down or stops. If we hit rock we tell you what we are seeing and talk through options instead of forcing it.
How deep can you trench?
Depth is adjustable and we set it to the job. Most water, electrical, and irrigation runs sit in a range we reach in a single pass. If you need it deeper, tell us the number up front so we bring the right setup. Give us the depth the line calls for and we cut to it.
Do you locate utilities before you dig?
You call 811 first. It is free, it is the law in Texas, and it gets the public utilities marked before we show up. We work to the marks and stay clear of them. Anything private on your property, like a line you ran yourself, point it out so we can avoid it.
Is there a minimum job size?
We would rather talk about your job than post a minimum. A short trench or a handful of holes can still be worth a trip, especially if we pair it with other work nearby. Tell us what you have and we will be straight about whether it makes sense.
How fast can you get out here?
Scheduling moves with the weather and the workload, but we keep it tight. Send the details and we give you a real window, not a maybe. Dirt work is easier to plan when we know the scope early.
What area do you cover?
We work across East Texas, out of the Tyler and Longview area, and we cover a good stretch of the surrounding counties. If you are near the edge of the map, ask. Travel is usually workable when the job is worth the drive.
Can you do holes and a trench in the same visit?
Yes, and it usually saves you money. The machine is already on site and the attachments swap out in a few minutes. If you have post holes and a trench, or grading and a driveway, put it all in one message and we will plan a single trip.
Do you clean up the spoil?
We tell you the plan before we start. Trench spoil can go back over the line, get raked out, or get piled where you want it. Drilling spoil is the same. If you want the dirt hauled off entirely, say so up front, since that changes the job.
Do you work with contractors and fence builders?
Regularly. Fence crews, builders, electricians, plumbers, and irrigation installers call us for the machine work so their people keep moving. If you need holes drilled or a trench cut ahead of your crew, we schedule around your timeline.
Tell us about the job.
Send the details and we will get you a straight quote. Post holes, a trench, a pad, a driveway, or all of it in one trip.
